Matt Koenig, Set to Serve as VP of Programming and Monetization; Stacey Richman, Named VP of Communications

NEW YORK – (May 10, 2021) –Team Whistle, the global sports media and entertainment company today announced two strategic new hires, naming Matt Koenig, VP of Programming and Whistle TV Operations, Sarah Craig, to lead and execute on programming strategy for WhistleTV, while leading the integration of its monetization and operations with Whistle’s social strategy. Richman will be responsible for the strategic planning and implementation of all public and media relations initiatives enhancing the corporate and programming interests for Team Whistle. Both Koening and Richman will be based in the company’s New York City headquarters and report to Team Whistle’s EVP of Media, Joseph Caporoso.

Matt Koenig is an award-winning Programming Director with a proven track record of leading teams and strategies that produce exponential year-over-year audience and revenue growth on a variety of platforms. For the last two and a half years, Koenig served as a Director of Programming/Streaming TV for Jukin Media handling content strategy for the company’s growing library of streaming channels including: FAILARMY, The Pet Collective, People Are Awesome and WEATHERSPY. Prior to joining Jukin, Matt served as a Manager of Programming and Scheduling for nearly six years at Crown Media Family Networks. Matt started his career as a Media Strategy Coordinator for National Geographic Channel. Matt currently resides in New Jersey with his family.

Stacey Richman hails from Group Nine Media, where she most recently served as their Director of Consumer Communications. She spent two years in that role, where she was responsible for spearheading and executing the consumer strategies across The Dodo, Thrillist, NowThis, POPSUGAR and Seeker brands. Prior to joining Group Nine, Richman served as a Manager of Communications at WarnerMedia’s truTV, and before that as a publicist for Discovery, Inc. and Animal Planet. Stacey began her career working at Ferencomm for PR Veteran Sheila Feren, and as a coordinator for CBS News. Stacey currently lives in Brooklyn with her two dogs.
